About Us
The Ademola A. Fasina-Thomas Foundation, Inc. awards $1500.00 scholarships to very deserving high school seniors who need help to get into University. This Foundation was officially started in 2014 with the first scholarships awarded in 2015. Since then, the Foundation has awarded $33,000.00 in scholarships. We believe that if a student has the desire for a higher education and has done the hard work to achieve admittance, then the lack of finances should not be a deterrent.
Our youth are our future. Please help us to continue to help them gain admittance into University.
Our Annual Event
Welcome to the 8th Annual AAFT Foundation, Inc. International Tasting, a vibrant celebration of culinary diversity, culture, and community spirit! This highly anticipated event will take place on October 18, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Studio T, located at 4040 Chapel Hill Road, Douglasville, GA.
Hosted by the Ademola A. Fasina-Thomas, Jr. Foundation, this event promises an unforgettable evening filled with delicious food from around the globe, a live band, dancing, and much more. Experience the flavors of different countries as you sample a wide array of international cuisines, each crafted to delight your taste buds and introduce you to new gastronomic experiences.
This year's tasting event features the culinary expertise of Chef Shu Washington from Sankofa Catering and Special Events. Known for his innovative and flavorful dishes, Chef Shu brings a unique blend of traditional and contemporary flavors to every dish.
The International Tasting is not just a feast for the senses; it’s an opportunity to make a positive impact. All proceeds from the event benefit the Ademola A. Fasina-Thomas Foundation Scholarship, supporting educational opportunities for deserving students.
